Yudhisthira has been consistently teaching Ananda Yoga since 1996. He holds a pre-med bachelor’s degree in biology from UC Santa Cruz and has an abiding love and interest in the sciences. That love has allowed him to teach science at Ananda’s Living Wisdom School in Palo Alto for the past 13 years. Yudhisthira is a certified (IAYT), Ananda Yoga Therapist and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500 teacher. For over ten years, he shared Ananda Yoga at the Camp Recovery Center in Scotts Valley, California. There he realized the power of Yoga to help those in recovery to expand their horizons beyond sobriety and into an even greater level of inner freedom and Self-expansion. Yudhisthira also spent over a decade sharing yoga with developmentally disabled young adults

and their caregivers.

In 2015, Yudhisthira merged his skills and experience with Vivekadevi Noh-Kuhn, to found the Ananda Bay Area School of Yoga and Meditation (Yoga Alliance RYS). Through ABASYM, they offer Ananda Yoga Teacher Training, Ananda Meditation Teacher Training, Restorative Yoga Teacher Training, and their keystone program, Yoga and the 12 Steps.

Vivekadevi Noh-Kuhn is Co-Director and Lead Trainer of the Ananda Palo Alto-Scotts Valley School of Yoga & Meditation, which offers 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification and Meditation Teacher Certification, in compliance with Yoga Alliance. 


She developed and leads the popular program: Yoga & The 12 Steps, which weaves together the teachings of yoga and the spiritual foundation of the 12 Steps, providing concrete tools for integrating these into everyday life.


Vivekadevi's warm and engaging teaching style allows students to relax and dive deeply into the essence of yoga and meditation and absorb the benefits of these powerful practices. She teaches weekly classes on yoga, meditation and the spiritual life and offers private sessions for individual support.
