Doug Andrews is the founder and director of Ananda Scotts Valley and a lead teacher at Ananda Bay Area School of Yoga and Meditation. Doug is a certified Ananda Yoga Therapy Teacher (IAYT accredited school) as well as a registered Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 teacher. Doug’s classes are popular for the way in which he interweaves the physical practice of Hatha Yoga with the timeless teachings of Raja Yoga.
In addition to his classes at Ananda, Doug also teaches at a residential drug and alcohol recovery center in Scotts Valley. His private teaching also includes a weekly class for developmentally disabled young adults and their families and caregivers. In addition to his role as a yoga instructor,
Doug is also an Ananda Lightbearer serving at both Ananda Scotts Valley as well as Ananda Palo Alto, and is a gifted, much-loved science teacher at Ananda’s Living Wisdom School in Palo Alto.

Vivekadevi Noh-Kuhn is Co-Director and Lead Trainer of the Ananda Palo Alto-Scotts Valley School of Yoga & Meditation, which offers 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification and Meditation Teacher Certification, in compliance with Yoga Alliance.
She developed and leads the popular program: Yoga & The 12 Steps, which weaves together the teachings of yoga and the spiritual foundation of the 12 Steps, providing concrete tools for integrating these into everyday life.
Vivekadevi's warm and engaging teaching style allows students to relax and dive deeply into the essence of yoga and meditation and absorb the benefits of these powerful practices. She teaches weekly classes on yoga, meditation and the spiritual life and offers private sessions for individual support.
